The first of its kind: Vitamin-Infused Patches. This innovative idea was conceived during my tenure as an Attending Naturopathic Physician at a University Medical School, in collaboration with a group of Health Science students. Our inspiration came from the weekly Grand Rounds, where we observed the introduction of new drugs in transdermal patches. Witnessing the potential benefits of this delivery method, we were struck by a novel question: could we use this technology for something other than pharmaceuticals?

As Naturopaths, we don't prescribe pharmaceutical drugs, but we do recommend vitamins and herbs. However, we face the same challenges as our allopathic counterparts in ensuring our patients take their recommended supplements. This common struggle fueled my determination to find a solution, leading to the creation of Nutri-Patch.

The journey to develop Nutri-Patch was a comprehensive one, involving extensive research, collaboration with experts, and rigorous testing. This process led to the creation of a skin patch infused with essential vitamins and herbs. Partnering with a patch manufacturer, we developed seven unique formulas to cater to different needs, all while emphasizing the importance of holistic health.

In 2016, we proudly launched Nutri-Patch, and the response was overwhelmingly positive. The sales records reflected the potential of our product, instilling in us a sense of pride and accomplishment. Despite the challenges, we established Nutri-Patch as a leading example of innovation in wellness solutions.

It’s important to note that Nutri-Patch is a cosmetic product, regulated by the FDA under the FD&C Act. Our focus is to provide nourishing ingredients that enhance the skin's appearance, states the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (.gov). We explicitly avoid making any drug or medical claims, as our products are not intended to affect the structure or function of the body, or to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
