How do all the nutrients and ingredients fit into a small patch?

nutrients and ingredients

Less bulk because, in a tablet, the nutrient molecule is bound to a powder. In a liquid, the bound nutrient molecule is diluted. Both these forms result in a bigger size and higher weight of the nutrient molecule; therefore, higher dose amounts are required and more to swallow. Because transdermal patches bypass the digestive system, where up to 80% of an oral dose is degraded and lost, they need only 20% of the amount found in pills and capsules. We show the oral dose equivalent amount so people can understand and compare the amount in our patches to the amount in tablets and capsules. Remember that the FDA has not established a transdermal dose equivalent to an oral dose. As soon as an equal amount is found, we are eager to make that label available.
